All KS3 Timetables – National Lockdown – KS3 Timetable

Each morning at 8.30am, a teacher will invite each scholar to a Teams meeting – scholars MUST be available to accept this call. They will stay on this call for the entire day, and teachers will come into the call to teach at the time specified in the timetable above.

Scholars will only need their laptop or tablet, a pad of paper, a black pen and a red pen to access online lessons.

Independent Learning

Where on the timetable it shows that scholars have ‘Independent Learning’ sessions, they will not have an online lesson. Scholars should use this time to complete their home learning for the day from their knowledge organisers.

What if your live lesson fails?

Ring the school number and select Option 1. This will put you through to our IT support team who can get you re-added to your lesson.

If, for any reason, your live lesson is not working and you cannot accept the invite you should follow these steps:

  1. Make sure your device is logged in to Microsoft Teams.
  2. Make sure Microsoft Teams is open on your device.
  3. Make sure you and your device are ready as soon as possible.
  4. While you are waiting for your next invite, open the document below and complete the work for the lesson you are missing. For example, if you are missing a science lesson, complete the science work.

Requesting a laptop if you're isolating

If you need to borrow a laptop or tablet to access online learning please ring our reception Team on 0114 5539110 or email info@astreasheffield.org or call the technical helpline on 07514 463736.

Unfortunately we are not able to make laptops or tablets available for scholars who have symptoms of coronavirus or those who have tested positive themselves.

Any borrowed devices need to be returned to the Academy on your child’s first day back in the same condition as they were given to you in. Families may be charged for any damage done to devices.
