Admission to Astrea Academy Sheffield Sixth Form involves:

  • Submitting an online application form through Sheffield Progress
  • Having two short meetings with the Head of Sixth Form about your academic interests and goals
  • Achieving the required grades

Minimum entry requirements: Scholars must:

  • Achieve 5 grade 5s or above including English Lang & Mathematics
  • Meet subject specific GCSE entry requirements as outlined below

Applying to Astrea Academy Sheffield

  • Applicants from Schools in Sheffield should use Sheffield Progress. Scholars in Sheffield schools will be guided on how to do this by their current school.
  • If you attend a private school, or live outside of Sheffield, then use the self-registration guide to UCAS progress on our website.

24th – 26th June 2026 – Y12 Transition Days

Thursday 20th August 2026 – AAS 6th Form Enrolment
