Our community is built on partnership, and volunteers are an essential part of what makes our school a vibrant, supportive, and inclusive place to learn and grow.
Whether you’re a parent, carer, grandparent, former scholar, or community member, your time and talents can make a real difference—from the early year’s classroom to Sixth Form enrichment.
Why Volunteer?
Volunteering is a rewarding way to:
- Support scholars at all stages of their learning journey
- Build stronger connections with the school community
- Share your skills, interests, or professional experience
- Model community spirit and civic engagement for young people
Opportunities across the School
There are many ways to get involved, including:
- Early Years & Primary: Classroom support, reading with children, arts & crafts, outdoor learning help
- Secondary & Sixth Form: Mentoring, careers talks, exam invigilation, extracurricular clubs
- Whole School: Library assistance, event planning, fundraising, parent associations, gardening, lunchtime supervision or site improvement days
We offer flexible opportunities—whether you can commit regularly or occasionally, your support is appreciated.
Keeping Scholars Safe
To maintain a safe and secure environment for all scholars, all volunteers must complete a background check (DBS) and a short safeguarding training. This is a simple process, and we’re here to guide you through it.
