They will also offer the HPV Human Papilloma Vaccine if they did not receive this in Y8. Please copy this link https://www.sheffieldchildrensvaccinations.co.uk/Forms/DTP to complete the consent form for DTP and MENACWY.

Please copy this link https://www.sheffieldchildrensvaccinations.co.uk/Forms/HPV to complete the consent form for HPV, but only if your child did not have HPV last year. If you consented for HPV last year but your child did not get vaccinated, we will vaccinate them using the consent submitted last year.

Homework
Homework is very important to learning at Astrea Academy Sheffield and is often cited as a key factor in academic success. All scholars will receive homework every night and it’s crucial that this completed to the best of their ability and not rushed. Most homework requires 80% or more to be considered complete whilst maths and science needs to be a 100% correct (this has been carefully considered to ensure maximum impact on retrieval). Please can you familiarise yourself with you child’s homework schedule and please encourage them to complete all homework set.
For scholars in years 7 to 11 the homework TT can be found here https://astreasheffield.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Homework-Website-TTSep-2024.pdf
As always, thank you for your support

Parental Feedback
During the schools recent inspection, many families helpfully completed the Ofsted Parent View Survey online.
Unfortunately, the school do not have access to the comments that parents wrote as part of that survey. We recognise that this feedback is of key importance to drive school improvement and want to establish a clear system to allow parents views to be heard.
As such, today we have launched a new survey, that initially will be live for a month until the 16th January. At this point we will summarise the feedback and share the findings with parents, alongside the actions taken.
The form will then remain live all the time, to allow for parents to give updated feedback at any time.
